All Diesel Fuel Will Have 2% Soy Biodiesel Blend

High Plains Cooperative is excited to announce that all diesel fuel delivered in Minnesota must have a 2% Biodiesel blend as of September 29, 2005. The Department of Agriculture confirmed that Minnesota has the capability to produce eight million gallons of soy Biodiesel within its borders. Therefore, they set the mandate to take effect on the above date.

High Plains Cooperative made the commitment early in August to increase its support of Biodiesel. Previously, High Plains Cooperative offered Biodiesel blends in all bulk and retail premium diesel fuels if the customer requested.

Under our new efforts, all bulk and retail gallons will have 2% soy Biodiesel blend, including our premium and non-premium diesel fuels. We made this change before the mandate was announced. And, are proud to support the mandate.
