Ruby Fieldmaster with 2% soy methyl ester is available at High Plains Cooperative. With Ruby Fieldmaster B2 or Roadmaster XL B2, you will be receiving the same great quality as Ruby Fieldmaster or Roadmaster XL, but with additional lubricity benefits. Soy methyl ester added to diesel fuel increases the lubricity of the fuel, which in turn, will help your engine run more smoothly.

Adding soy methyl ester to Ruby Fieldmaster also provides a cleaner burning fuel which is better for the environment, and it allows High Plains Cooperative to give back to its customers by purchasing products they produce.

Why Use Ruby Fieldmaster B2?

Better Lubricity
Adding soy methyl ester to Ruby Fieldmaster significantly enhances the lubricity of the diesel fuel. In fact, adding two percent methyl ester to diesel can increase lubricity by 66 percent, according to tests by Stanadyne Automotive Corporation. Improved lubricity reduces engine wear and extends the life of diesel engines.

Better for Agriculture
The agricultural economy also benefits from the use of soy methyl ester. Most of the current biodiesel supply in the U.S. is made from soybean oil. One bushel of soybeans can produce 1.5 gallons of biodiesel. Biodiesel expands the U.S. soybean market, creating more demand for soybeans. And, since biodiesel is made in the U.S., it can help our country become energy-independent. High Plains Cooperative will only provide biodiesel with soy methyl ester.

Safe for Diesel Engines
Soy methyl ester can be used immediately in diesel engines, without any expensive engine modifications. In addition, diesel engine manufactures have affirmed that the use of two percent soy in their equipment will not void their warranties.

Better for the Environment
Soy methyl ester is better for the environment. Pure biodiesel (B100) contains no sulfur, is nontoxic, and biodegrades as fast as sugar. Ruby Fieldmaster with two percent soy will reduce harmful emissions for cleaner air. Pure biodiesel is renewable and made from domestically produced agricultural products.

Future of Biodiesel
It has been discussed that the Minnesota government will mandate two percent soy methyl ester in every gallon of diesel fuel sold. This regulation is expected to come
within the next couple of years. And, with companies like High Plains Cooperative and Cenex already offering Ruby Fieldmaster with soy methyl ester, you can experience the benefits now.
